More Photos from our Trip

I thought I'd add a couple more photos from the trip to the UP, here's one of Fr. Michael, me, and Bishop Sample, (Fr. Darryl is on the wall behind us) Yes, Bishop Sample does look like him, but he's not ok?

Also, we checked out some waterfalls, and ended up at the Black River Harbor on Lake Superior, she was a little rowdy that day, and yep, got me some nice rocks and a couple of pieces of driftwood for the "pond"

We also stopped by the Copper Peak Ski-Jump! Wow...way the hell up there! no thanks, didn't ride the lift up, or climb the silly thing. Those people are nutz that "fly" off the thing! anyway, enjoy!

Trip to the UP to meet Bruno & other interesting things

We took a long weekend up to see Fr. Michael in Ironwood...we'd like to think it was to see him and visit, but we all know the real reason, to meet "Bruno". We took some friends with us - Pat and Joe, and of course Molly. The meeting of the "kissin' kousins" went remarkably well! It was just beautiful there. We went touring on Saturday, out to a fabulous dinner for our anniversary all the way to Wisconsin! (1 mile from the parrish) at a place that served the best homemade Italian food...when I can remember the name of the place, I'll let you know :) We also got to see the Bishop again, he came to celebrate Mass on Sunday, so that was a bonus! Its a long ride, 410 miles so about 9 hours if you count stopping to get out once in a while. I wish it were closer, but its not, and he's very happy there and that's what counts.

Also went on a "girls ride" with my girlfriends from Traverse, we went on a mini adventure, funny how you've ridden roads for years, and could still get lost-sorta. We found our destination, Lulu's in Bellaire, had a great lunch and promised to do it again!

We've been keeping real busy with the KofC Canteen, its a whole 'nuther world when you enter the "bingo" world!

the weather around here has been just beautiful, more summer like than fallish. I am not complaining. so that' it for now...

Happy Anniversary to Us!

Today is our 8th wedding anniversary! We had a great day, I made us a super breakfast, we enjoyed the day together and finished off at Bingo! We are planning a trip to the UP to visit Fr. Michael, our son. We are brining along our "adopted parents" Pat and Joe...they love Fr. Michael too and are looking forward to hopefully a bit of a color tour, some tourist stops and a nice visit with the Parish...we'll celebrate our anniversary with them and Fr. Michael and Darryl. Molly is growing fast. We're bringing her with us to meet her new friend Bruno, Fr. Michael's new puppy. Molly has been quite a change for us, we're developing more patience, and getting more excercise. Here's some new photos of her, she's quite funny and innocent at the same time. She's a good dog, and will be a grateful for her companionship. She's gone 3 days in a row going out side, and holding it all night!!! We consider that a huge step!

Our annulments are moving right along...we have some hurdles to jump, but it will be so worth it when its done. We can't wait to have family and friends come to the Blessing of our Marriage when it takes place! There will be party! We feel blessed to have our lives and our love...on that note, its time to put Molly to bed, and head up to read and catch some zzzz's.

Here's an unusual sight in our house...Maggie is sleeping on the back of the couch and Molly on the couch! Most of the time, they are at odds with each other!

Molly is growing tall, now weighs about 17 lbs!

As you can see this is a peaceful moment in the saga that's a new pet in the house!

September is here..

Well, September is here, and its summer! Its been warm, breezy and just beautiful...now we actually need more rain! Molly is coming right along...she's learning to go outside better everyday! She's had a bout of worms, ick!!!!! so we ran her over to the vet's and got her "pilled" The vet wanted us to do it a home because she was worried about her throwing up in the truck, we said, she has never done that, so go ahead and give her the pills. Well, we were half right, we got home, she came in the house, drank some water, and threw up! I hope the pills made it down far enough :)
we're planning a trip to the U.P. to see Fr. Michael and his new puppy Bruno. The color should be starting up there and it should be a beautiful trip. It will be our 8th anniversary, so lots of reasons to celebrate!
My candle business is starting to do better, more parties for Sept, and Oct, so I am hoping that my friends and family will check out my website www.partylite.biz/pamjacobus and see the new catalogs. there are some pretty cool items. the photos just don't do it justice.
Mike is doing good. He's fighting off some kind of malady, we're not sure why, but its getting him down, so do pray that we both feel better physically and mentally ok? that's it for now, we are going to "Fall Clean" the house the next few days-carpet cleaner an all!
